Concord in Brunswick County Virginia is perhaps our most dubious "town." It appears on maps as a place, but it seem to be just a lovely old white Presbyterian church with an attached graveyard at a crossroad. Such churches usually spawned a town that shared the name, so we stopped off at the local library to see what we could find. The answer was, "not much." We headed there anyway and had a wander about. This was scheduled to be a big day with a couple of Concords and plenty of driving. Since it promised to be a challenging day of "Concording," I booked us into a resort with a top-rated restaurant for the evening.
Little did I know that Hurricane Hellene had other plans for us.
Our stop in Brunswick County is part of a larger saga described here.
